This state-of-the-art performance facility was designed to accommodate a full range of high school and middle school programs for a growing rural school district. The central feature of the 48,000-square-foot center is the 800-seat auditorium equipped with an orchestra pit, legitimate stage/fly loft, sound and lighting control booth, side balconies for musicians, scene shop, catwalk, and stage equipment storage. Other key elements include a band rehearsal hall designed for 200 musicians and a choir room for 125 vocalists. Drama classes have a black-box classroom with a portable dimming system and catwalk to access lighting and adjust scenery. A recording studio is located between band and a large ensemble room.
