Pappagallo’s Boutique

This project transformed space previously occupied by a private art gallery into a lively retail space for a popular women’s clothing boutique. The two-story space is on a prominent street in the Sundance Square area of downtown Fort Worth.

The renovations were mostly cosmetic but brought new interest and energy to this 3,200-square-foot, open two-story space. Wood-paneled columns accent the full-height wall on one side of the store, while the facing wall is divided from front to back by a second-story balcony. A curving, black iron staircase leads to the upper level where shoes and accessories are showcased.

Can lights provide general illumination throughout the space, while track lights highlights wall displays, and pendant fixtures hung at varying heights from the upstairs ceiling add light and interest to the curved customer checkout counter on the ground level. Floor finishes include wood and granite on the ground level and carpet on the upstairs balcony.
