Central High School – Keller ISD

The four story facility accommodates 2,500 students and is divided into two functional areas- a three story academic wing and a two story wing housing athletics, fine arts, cafetorium, library and vocational arts. Each wing is organized around a central entry court, which is also used as an overflow area for larger school activities.

The administrative areas, cafetorium and gymnasium all open onto a central circulation spine with views of the exterior courtyards. The building’s architecture is reminiscent of the old “central” high school facilities, while incorporating modern technology and materials.

Hahnfeld Hoffer Stanford served as design architect and interior designer for this project.
