Brown-Lupton University Union, TCU

Located at the heart of the TCU campus, the 135,000-square-foot Brown-Lupton Union powerfully anchors and unifies the university’s newly created Student Commons, which is entered from the building itself or through an archway in the center of the building. Identifiable by a landmark 130-foot bell tower, the new three-story building surrounds a plaza that features outdoor dining, a fountain, shade trees, and a covered arcade. In tandem with neighboring residence halls and other student-life facilities, the Union completes numerous outdoor activity areas. Project design documents were developed utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM).
