Annie R. Bass Building (Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences) TCU

As part of a major project to develop the east campus of TCU, the Annie R. Bass Building received extensive interior renovations as well as a new addition which significantly increased the existing square footage of the existing building. The project accommodates the latest in pedagogical approaches and incorporates cutting-edge supportive technologies.

The unique schedule demands of health professions education require long hours in both classroom and hands-on practice labs. Before the renovation, there were no areas for student amenities. The new program acknowledges this programmatic need and approximately 4,000 square feet of atrium space between the old and the new portions of the building are now dedicated to serving the general needs of the students.
