This three-story academic building with partial basement is home to the Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education and Human Development. The 43,178-square-foot building includes classrooms, research laboratories, practice teaching space, the Dean’s suite and related offices. The LEED Gold certified facility is located on a new quad that was previously the site of aging apartments. The building footprint is rectangular with a short wing creating a dramatic columned entrance facing University Boulevard and anchoring a new northeast entrance to the campus.
